Thank you to the 70 plus anglers, businesses and individual contributors to last year's event. Your efforts and generosity will assist in assuring that the Kennebec continues to be a top quality recreational destination fishery.  Please see the 2007 Tourney Wrap Up for a complete listing of supporters.

Last Year's ANNUAL KENNEBEC BENEFIT PRO-AM TOURNAMENT  BROUGHT 41 ANGLERS TO THE RIVER AND THEY CAUGHT AND RELEASED almost 200 STRIPED BASS.  The charity event raised over $7,000 which will help further research by the Maine Department of Marine Resources into the nature, habits and quality of a native stock of striped bass. The star of the tourney was a 6 1/2" striper caught by Oliver Dominick of Team Gillies & Fallon II. This little guy is most likely one of the native Kennebec river fish which will benefit from the tourney proceeds ...
